Course Overview
Journey Through Scripture covers the entire Bible, approaching it chronologically. The course builds on the foundation laid in the books, “Putting Together the Puzzle of the Old Testament” and “Putting Together the Puzzle of the New Testament.” You do not need to have read these books to take the course.
At the end of our time we want to accomplish two primary objectives. We want both to master the Word of God (information) and also let the Word of God master us (transformation).
In mastering the Word of God, we will focus on learning the story of the Bible from which all the stories from the Bible fit. Yet, we also want to grow in our walk as followers of Jesus Christ. So, in terms of letting the Word of God master us, we will focus on the transformation of our hearts.
A Comprehensive Online Experience
The 87 lessons last for approximately twenty months, the longest of the Ezra Journey courses. You will need to allocate about 60 minutes per week which involves reading 13-14 chapters of Scripture, taking a question quiz and sharing your insights weekly in community with group discussion.
Groups can journey together virtually, posting their weekly comments to a group discussion board, or meet face-to-face. These meetings are critical to the success of the group as they create consistency, encourage conversation and cultivate community.

Yes! You can absolutely take the journey on your own as an individual, but we encourage walking this path together in community and find high value in what God does in and through relationships.
